This is the people behind Faye's latest looks all the time! You can't really see Elaine's face but at least the mirror in the background has some glimpses of her!

Elaine Wong is Faye's hairstylist for many of her albums. From my information, she has collaborated with Faye since her Mytery days. I still yet to find any background information for her yet so once again I need help from the Fayenatics!There are some hairstyles that I have pointed out in this homepage that I particularly liked. Below are just some of my favourites.

This was for the Vacation MTV. I really love the colours of her hair. Really cool. Green and copper are just some of my favourite colours. The colours were also the theme for the Di~dar Cd anyway. In this scene Faye was nibbling on a piece of bread. After I edited the image the bread kinda have been cropped out of the picture.

This is the picture for the back of her Di~dar album except that unlike that pic, this pic has Faye looking up at you. I love her hair, with the messy streaks of hair clumped together in variations of hues from green to maroon and to jet black. Really cool and striking. With her ultra icy gaze, the picture is I might dare say almost perfect!

Elaine has been Faye's hair stylist for the four years since Faye's return from New York. In these years, Elaine has established a close friendship with her, and Elaine has her own views about the negative comments people have made about Faye. In her eyes, Faye is a very sincere and straight-forward person, she is never devious in her speech, and doesn't hide her opinions. Elaine feels that this is perhaps a personality trait of people from Beijing in general. When Faye accepts interviews from reporters, she doesn't answer questions which she doesn't like, and if the reporters continue to pester her with those questions, she will try to leave and avoid those questions altogether. Because people from HK are used to being obliged [by their stars], they may have trouble accepting Faye's straight-forward attitude.

People say Faye has an aloof attitude, but Elaine says that in reality, Faye is very shy, and is someone who takes a long time to become familiar and close to other people; she isn't very outgoing. "She's not someone who'll become very close and affectionate to you at once, but after a while, you will slowly discover that Faye is actually a very nice person; she's never ostentatious, never thinks of herself as a big star and she's never high on herself; on the contrary, when you work with Faye, it's like being with a friend, it's a very comfortable feeling. We talk as equals, and there isn't this feeling of one being superior to the other; we feel very close to each other." Some people may find it hard to accept Faye's straight-forward attitude, but Elaine thinks that Faye is a very worthwhile friend. Why? "Perhaps it's because we have similar views about things."
